- Is there reserved parking on site?

Unfortunately, we will not have parking affiliated with our site. Several paying city parking lots will be available nearby.

- Is the vaccination passport necessary to access the Nordik Village?

Following Public Health directives, the vaccination passport is not required to participate in the ice fishing activity.

- Is wearing a mask compulsory?

The mask will be compulsory in the interior spaces as well as in our heated marquee; the mask is not compulsory on the outdoor site.

- What is the number of fishermen allowed on an outdoor section?

There is no limit for the outside, however physical distance must be respected.

- Can we be more than one family bubble in an Igloo?

Yes, according to current health measures: It is possible to accommodate a maximum of 10 people or three family bubbles in each igloo

- If I reserve an igloo, do I also have to pay for "fishing" access?

No, the igloo includes fishing rights for the group. (Quota of twenty (20) trout for the group)

- Are there chairs on site?

Yes, but you can bring your own chairs if you prefer.

- Is it possible to bring my dog?

Yes, dogs are accepted as long as they are on a leash at all times.

- Is there a food service on site?

Yes, there will be the Café Smith on site as well as a mobile sugar shack. You can also bring your own food.

- Is it possible to bring our own lunches?

Yes, you can bring your own food. Please leave your waste in the places provided for this purpose.

- Is the fishing equipment included?

Fishing equipment and bait are included. However, we do not provide clothing, you are responsible for dressing warmly.

- Is it possible to bring my own fishing equipment?

We provide tip-ups and baits, but if you prefer to bring your equipment you are allowed.

- What is the quota?

We stock trout and the quota for this fish is three (3) per person. For the other species of fish in the basin, the quotas are the same as what the legislation allows, so ten (10) per person.

- Can we put the fish back in the water at the end of fishing?

With the cold temperature, often the fish die if we release them into the water. If you are unable to keep the fish you have caught, you can instead give the fish to a nearby group, or leave them for the guides to give away.

- Do I need a fishing license?

No, no fishing license is required for residents of the province of Quebec.

- Can we only get a children's pass?

One or more children must be accompanied by at least one adult who pays their fishing rights.

- What are the cancellation policies?

If the weather is really bad and we have to close the site, you will be automatically reimbursed. If you need to cancel your activity for personal reasons, you have up to 48 hours before your activity date to request a free refund. Within this period, there is no possibility of reimbursement.

- How do I make my reimbursement request (48 hours in advance*)?

You can go directly to the Eventbrite site in the “Ticket(s)” tab to click on the refund request. Otherwise, you can reply to your confirmation email to request the refund.
*For Igloos the deadline is 7 days in advance.

- Is it possible to come and participate without booking in advance?

Yes it is possible, but if we are full that day, you will not be able to fish. To guarantee access, it is better to book in advance. Also, booking in advance allows you to collect your equipment more quickly when you arrive.
